1. General Data Protection Regulation
We respect the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 14 April 2016. Meaty Facts is the data controller of this website. Your access and use of this Site constitutes your agreement to this online privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”), which may be amended from time to time. The updated version is applicable and not the privacy policy in effect at the time the data was collected. Please regularly review our Privacy Policy. If at any time you do not agree or have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should immediately discontinue use of this Site and follow the procedure described in the section entitled “Updating your Personal Information”.
1.1 Collection of Personal Information
You are not required to provide any personal information (“Personal Information”) on any areas of the Site. However, you may choose to voluntarily provide us with Personal Information about yourself, for example your name, postal address, email address, telephone number and/or other information, for various purposes. Personal Information submitted by you will be used to allow us, our employees, agents, consultants and sub-contractors to process your request for the purpose for which you give your consent, for example, to send you information on news, publications, seminars and events. European Livestock Voice does not collect or store data of a sensitive nature.
1.1.1 In-person Contacts
We may also collect information about individuals with whom we would like to stay in touch at events, for example, by exchanging business cards. This information may be used in the future to contact you about relevant issues, events, activity updates, resources, etc.
1.2 Collection of Aggregate Information
We may also collect aggregate information and statistics (“Aggregate Information”) for the purpose of monitoring the Site usage in order to help us develop the Site and our services. These statistics are non-personally identifiable / anonymous information about you and will therefore not include information that can be used to identify any individual. When you use this Site, Meaty Facts may consequently collect certain information about your computer. For example, we may log environmental variables, such as browser type, operating system, CPU speed, referring or exit webpages, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer. We do not match such information with any other information unless we have your consent.
1.3 Data collection and use
Meaty Facts collects your Personal Information in order to:
  • record support and facilitate your participation in the activities you select; contact you and communicate with you;
  • verify compliance with legal requirements of applicable laws, rules and regulations.
The collection of Personal Information by Meaty Facts will be limited to what is necessary for the purposes of collection. If the Personal Information is collected and processed for other purposes, your consent will be obtained before or at the time it is collected. Meaty Facts will collect, process or disclose your Personal Information only with your consent, except where required or permitted by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to info@meatyfacts.com Meaty Facts keeps your Personal Information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it is originally collected or to which you have subsequently consented and for legitimate purposes (such are legal compliance). Meaty Facts does not sell, trade or transfer otherwise your personal data to any third parties other than to our agents, consultants and sub-contractors who assist us in running this Site and related services, and who are subject to security and confidentiality obligations. We only work with third parties that strictly comply with local data protection laws and the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Meaty Facts will observe applicable law and take reasonable steps to ensure that any person or entity receiving or accessing your Personal Information for the purposes described here above are obligated to protect and keep secure the Personal Information.
1.5 Data Security
We will keep your information confidential and secure and use it in accordance with our internal procedures covering the storage, access and disclosure of information, and all applicable laws. Meaty Facts has implemented physical, technical and administrative safeguards reasonably designed to protect your Personal Information. Meaty Facts will keep your Personal Information as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary for the purposes for which it is collected and processed. If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your email address or if you wish to cancel your request, please let us know by sending an email to info@meatyfacts.com
1.6 Updating your Personal Information – Your Rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have any inaccurate information corrected or any part or all of your data deleted and to object to/restrict the processing of your information. You also have the right to request an export of your data. To do so, please send your request to info@meatyfacts.com.
1.7 Links to Other Sites
This Site may contain links to other websites which may have their own privacy policy. Meaty Facts have no responsibility for those websites and we provide these links solely for your convenience. These websites may send their own cookies and collect/process personal information in a way inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. Any access of third party websites you choose to make is entirely at your own risk and subject to the privacy policy of such websites. We encourage you reviewing the privacy policies of any third party websites. We welcome your views about our Site and our Privacy Policy. 9. Your Data Rights
General Rights
If you have a registered account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we retain, including any additional data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any of the personal data we have stored. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. In short, we cannot erase data that is vital to you being an active customer (i.e. basic account information like an email address). If you wish that all of your data is erased, we will no longer be able to offer any support or other product-related services to you.
GDPR Rights
Your privacy is critically important to us. Going forward with the GDPR we aim to support the GDPR standard. AncoraThemes permits residents of the European Union to use its Service. 11. Release of Your Data for Legal Purposes
At times it may become necessary or desirable to AncoraThemes, for legal purposes, to release your information in response to a request from a government agency or a private litigant. You agree that we may disclose your information to a third party where we believe, in good faith, that it is desirable to do so for the purposes of a civil action, criminal investigation, or other legal matter. In the event that we receive a subpoena affecting your privacy, we may elect to notify you to give you an opportunity to file a motion to quash the subpoena, or we may attempt to quash it ourselves, but we are not obligated to do either. We may also proactively report you, and release your information to, third parties where we believe that it is prudent to do so for legal reasons, such as our belief that you have engaged in fraudulent activities. You release us from any damages that may arise from or relate to the release of your information to a request from law enforcement agencies or private litigants. Any passing on of personal data for legal purposes will only be done in compliance with laws of the country you reside in.
